Apicomplexa are a large group of protists, most of which possess a unique organelle called apicoplast and an apical complex structure invloved in penetrating a host's cell. They are unicellular, spore-forming, and exclusively parasites of animals. Motile structures such as flagella or pseudopods are absent except in certain gamete stages. If you can carry food, you can leave your kids with grandma while you're out foraging, and bring some food back for grandma and the kids. You'll need to have a bigger brain to keep track of which grandma and which aunties are good at taking care of the kids, and also for keeping track of which kids are yours.
