Their website makes them look a bit naff, but the Shaftesbury Ave shop is anything but. They have a history going back to 1840 and have supplied costumes for hundreds of films, TV productions and plays e.g. this is a list of all the films winning "Best Costume Design" Oscars that they have supplied.The web selection for hire is just the tip of the iceberg, you would really need to visit them to see the massive range available. They apparently have 4 million items, including 1 million they got when they bought the BBC Costume Department's stock.
