Just choose the one colors from many colors of curtain and then find a solid curtain to fix your window. If all of your furniture, wall paint, carpets are dark, then I would go with ivory or a lighter shade of black or brown. It also depends on how big your window. If most of the wall is window then you might want to use one of the darker colors cause the window itself will brighten up the room. Just pick one of those colors and you should be fine.
