Live music can have other sounds mixed in with the band, i.e., people screaming, singing, or yelling at the band, or the music just does not have the same clear and polished sound. These can be real deal-breakers when you compare to the actual sounds you can hear without all of the extraneous noises you have no control over. For many, having all of the outside world cut off and hearing only the soothing or body-moving beats is the only way to hear music.
