As you work in a non-billing position, then I guess it could easy to jump ship... go into something like hospital administration (you will never be out of a job). However, as a Recruitment professional myself (I own my own small agency here in the UK) www.spotonstaff.co.uk I think the firms that survive this economic downturn will be in the best position once things do turn around again, and they will, as these things are cyclical - no-one has a crystal ball and I can't possibly predict how your firm is going to perform. But you should know if they are doing okay, how many placements did they have this month? i.e. how many people did they get jobs for? If this starts to look really bad i.e. they only start getting people into jobs rarely then yes definitely leave!
