At times you'll be distracted, and having a decent time, and then boom! you'll think of him and miss him, but if your mom is trust worthy and you know he is in good hands, try really hard to have some fun, its good for all of you to have a couple days to yourself once and awhile. Believe it or not its good for the baby too, and it give him some bonding time with grandma.But overall I had fun actually. I expected to miss my son much more than I actually did! Momma really needed a break! So give yourself a chance, you might actually enjoy being away for a weekend much more than you realize.
