I have always wanted to do one myself but never really got the chance. Yes you have to pay for it but I have heard through the internet that these parties are worth it. This site is well organized too you would seen what I mean. Besides that you could possibly play the board game "Clue" or create decorations to set the mood. Dimmed lights, fake blood, scary music, spider wbs etc etc.
