Since it is at night around a pool, I would suggest something like, retro glam. Send out embellished invitations and suggest your guests wear fashions reminiscent of the 30's and 40's. Target has a of of cute retro accessories for ladies. I have send the slim slacks at the mall ( for the men) with a nice hat and ascot. You could decorate with a lot of the large chandelier crystals and fur boas.
